The idea behind the design of the villa is to provide greater levels of privacy using the traditional inner courtyard element and applying it in a more contemporary and modern architectural context.

All the interior spaces have an inward focus towards the central courtyard as opposed to the a more opaque treatment towards the external spaces. Despite the modern aesthetics used, the three-storey villa is designed to have a distinct Arabic architectural flavour to it. Each of the villas contains a formal Majlis and formal dining on the ground floor overlooking the courtyards. The central courtyard also acts as an organising element which, visually and physically, connects most of the spaces on the first and second floor.
