Expressive Modern Interpretation of Moroccan Vernacular Architecture
The luxury residence complex is sited in the idyllic hilly and lush suburbs of Tangier in Morocco. The driving concept of the design was to reinterpret the traditional Moroccan vernacular into a more contemporary and modern architectural house form.
The main programme of the residence complex consists of the main Diwaniah building, an exquisite indoor pool and a large wedding hall with an open court which are nestled alongside the main villa and several guest villas. The central green area acts as a large verdant courtyard which unifies all the components of the design.
