Sensible Adaptive Reuse
The project is centred around the adaptive reuse of an existing structure to house the 250 keys 4-star hotel.

The juxtaposed glass cube forms the central roof and provides natural light into the central atrium which is overlooked by inward oriented rooms.
The design succeeds at the difficult challenge of providing high efficiency hotel spaces even though greatly restricted by the existing structural system and base layout. The changes made resulted in a hotel which exudes character and possesses an ingrained sense of history.
