Tarout Master Plan

Mixed Use Island City
The master plan aims to provide 8.2 million m² of built up area on Tarout Island.

The core island is divided by a central spine which in turn is connected by two designated causeways to Qatif on the Persian Gulf belonging to the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Majority of the programs will be residential based and will be supported by amenities such as hospitality areas, commercial areas, offices, medical facilities, educational facilities and recreational facilities. The main design concept is to utilise water to enhance the value of the development by integrating it with the site and buildings within.
