Bio

“I find architecture a continuous effort to stay structurally present at the centre of the triangle defined by safety, economy and serviceability. There is power that comes with the humility of creating a concrete giant while appealing to the human heart – like a great poet, I am an interpreter of my time and age that I believe is reflected in the buildings I bring to life”.

Mr. Refaat is the Head of the Structural Department and is responsible for the overall structural engineering & design, staff supervision, scheduling, project presentation, other engineering disciplines coordination and construction support structural services. He is the design force behind many architectural grandeurs and accomplishments globally.

Prior to joining AMSAD, he worked with Zuhair Fayez Partnership; Al Afandi Est.; Saudi Diyar Consultants and Hilal Structural Design & Consultant, Cairo. He now continues to create wondrous building around the world with AMSAD.
